Mr and Mrs Burgess - Their Love Story
Getting married abroad can often feel daunting and scary, but hearing first-hand from lovely couples who have already been through the process can give you some piece of mind to know what your experience will be like when booking your wedding with us.
Here’s a little insight into our wonderful couples wedding and their advice to future couples.

Where and how did you first meet?
We both started working at the same place at the same time fifteen years ago.
What’s your Love Story?
We had both come out of unhappy marriages and both said we are never getting married again.
We talked a lot and found out how similar we were. We got together and never looked back and obviously decided we would get married again.
What made you choose Cyprus for your wedding?
We wanted something different so we decided on Cyprus as it was the island of Love and could have the bonus of lovely weather and the honeymoon all in one.
What advice would you give to couples planning their wedding abroad?
We couldn’t have asked for anything more; Nicki and Hannah took care of everything for us.
There was hardly any stress for us apart from the covid situation, would we be allowed to travel and having the covid tests so under normal circumstances it should be worry free knowing you have picked the best two wedding planners to make your day perfect.
I couldn’t fault anything, the day of the wedding Hannah took me to Mark who done my hair and make-up beautifully, he was a lovely chatty man and helped calm my nerves.
My flowers were perfect, even better than I had imagined them to be.
Nicki came to collect Luke and took him to the venue, the venue was also great and looks so nice in the photos and video. I went in the wedding car, Nicki was there to meet me, along with Dan Kelly the photographer and Louis and Mandy who were doing the video, all really nice people who make you feel at ease. We were so lucky to have had the best of everything for our special day. It really was a perfect day.
What made you choose to have a wedding planner?
We both wanted everything to be simple and not have to worry about anything so started to research wedding planners in Cyprus. We were really lucky to have found Nicki who had not long started up on her own. We spoke to Nicki over the phone and both decided she was the lady for us.
How long before your wedding did you begin planning?
It was about fifteen months from when we booked until we got married. We felt like it was ages away when we booked but it came round really quickly.
Was there a specific moment of your day that you found extra special?
The whole day was extra special, Nicki and Hannah brought it all together so perfectly.
Anything else you would like to tell us about your day?
No hesitation in recommending Nicki and Hannah, they really are the best you could ask for. We thought a wedding planner would be out of our budget, we were proved very wrong. Our whole wedding with everything included plus a two week holiday and flights for less than £4000.
